Enjoy an exclusive experience at the QuéMUAC Restaurant, and the art, music and food that we, from CACT Lanzarote, have prepared for you on Valentine’s Day
“Cuisine is the alchemy of love” Guy de Maupassant
The most romantic time of the year is coming up, and although we all say that love should be celebrated everyday, we must admit that we enjoy being given a little surprise on Valentine’s Day.
If you wish to turn a romantic dinner into an unforgettable evening surrounded by the sophisticated vibes of art, culture and classical music, you’re going to love what they have put together for such a special occasion at our restaurant QuéMUAC in Castillo de San José, at the International Contemporary Art Museum, MIAC. The unique route they have planned consists of entering the museum in the evening for free, and continuing on to the restaurant.
The Chef and his team have come up with an exquisite gourmet proposal with a delicious tasting menu that consists of Iberian cured ham scallop, served with sautéed peas, dates and passion fruit, Iberian pork carpaccio served with sugar-coated foie shavings with a hint of vanilla, Canarian diced tuna marinated in soya sauce, wakame algae and lime spheres, Mojito sorbet served with Gin Tonic foam and, Cebón entrecôte served with pistachios and Tinache cured cheese sauce. And to top it all up, an explosion of flavours with an Open chocolate wrapping served with passion fruit and raspberry cream. Wine lovers can also enjoy the tasting menu option that includes a selection of 4 Lanzarote Designation of Origin wines.
The dinner will be livened up by the music of a piano and cello duet, Diana Martínez and Aaron Márquez, a unique instrumental combination on the island, who will perform from 21:00 to 23:00, followed by the music of the resident DJ to top up a wonderful soiree as you enjoy the panoramic view of the bay of Arrecife.
*You may access the restaurant through the main door of the International Contemporary Art Museum, MIAC from 19:30, with the possibility to visit the museum and the new exhibition hall La Cabina, in the restaurant area.
